Recently I had the absolute pleasure of meeting back up with a wonderful family I have photographed once before almost a year ago.
I first worked with them on a new-born shoot of their daughter last year, and now, the day before her first birthday, it was time for another portrait session! Just look how tiny she was...
Fresh from her birthday party, this little one stole the show! Full of energy, laughs and funny faces just like her first shoot! It was so lovely to be able to see the family again and capture some memories for this special occasion.
It rained…of course it rained…but nothing a good snuggly coat and an umbrella couldn’t handle!
We headed down to the beautiful riverside and viaduct in Washington in the North East of England. For anyone that doesn't know its nestled between Sunderland and Newcastle, and so the shoot was not only in a lovely location but also super nostalgic for me as this is my home town! I loved getting the chance to revisit some of my old stomping grounds!
The shoot was kept relaxed, natural and full of smiles…and I certainly hope it won’t be the last time I get to see them! Check out some of my favourite shots here:
I can't wait to send the final gallery over! I love to travel to all sorts of wonderful places for family shoots and weddings, so to enquire about having your own get in touch, I would love to hear from you!
Next up on the blog I'll be talking about some sweet new bits of kit I've collected this month and sharing some shots from my adventures at the beautiful beaches of Tynemouth while I was visiting the North East...so keep an eye out for that!
