This week I got the chance to work with one of my favourite teams of talented ladies on a styled bridal editorial in the gorgeous surroundings of Meanwood forest, Leeds.
Hair and makeup was provided by Beckie Stirk, who I've not only collaborated with many times, but actually did my own makeup and hair at my wedding this year. She styled the hair loose and ethereal with an autumnal colour palette for the makeup.
Darecca from independent label Dazarockz provided us with five beautiful handcrafted looks to shoot using the woodland backdrop as inspiration. The designs used lace, feathers and faux furs in greys, silvers and creams.
Our beautiful model for the day was Sophie Mehmet. I actually worked with Sophie on a test shoot back in 2012 so I was over the moon when she got in touch to work together again all these years later.
As always I had a blast working on this shoot, it was so much fun and I always love seeing what everyone in the team brings to the table on the day. From wading in a river to get "the shot" to setting smoke bomb off in the trees, it was an eventful few hours shooting! Check out some more of our behind the scenes shots from the day here:
I can't wait to get working on the final edits from this shoot, with so many beautiful looks I don't know how I'm going to choose the final shots! Stay posted for more!
