Recently I worked with Leeds based Makeup Artist Jodie Johnston on a sixties inspired beauty shoot with stunning model Alana Elliot @ Nemesis Model Management. I thought it would be something fun for my blog to show the shoot from inspiration to completion so here it goes!
These were a few of the images from the initial moodpboard we came up with for the shoot...we wanted to incorporate lots of fun colours and fashions into the shoot:
The look was bold and graphic, with colour blocked liner and a beehive hairstyle which involved a hell of a lot of backcombing! Alana wore several different outfits styled by myself, which due to the sixties inspiration, had a lot of difficult necklines...lots of hilarity ensued when trying to get changed! Check out some of the behind the scenes shots from the day:
I've worked with Alana on a few shoots now, all of which have been so vasty different! My favourite thing about working with her is how adaptable she is to any brief, her mad posing skills and her sense of humour!
I had tonnes of fun working on this shoot, here are some of the final shots...I will be adding these shots and more to my gallery pages very soon!
