Just a quick post about something I was a little excited about yesterday...
Last year I worked on a photoshoot with Roll'em Productions for BBC Programme "The Syndicate" which is now in it's third series. It was an extremely fun and interesting shoot, and such a different approach to photography.
While the images were to be for a fellow characters modelling portfolio (something I feel within my comfort zone working on) the environment and style was so very different!
The images were to look as though they had been taken by one of the shows characters, so there was a sense of almost getting into character from my perspective...trying to look at the images the way his character would and taking shots that I usually wouldn't, shooting in a different and more voyeuristic way. I also got to shoot a few press style shots for a news article to be in the show, and even an "evidence" image to be used in a police environment!
It was a great day and I felt I learned a lot about really working to a specific brief, and the best part was seeing the images in the final episode! They were dotted about through the whole episode and there was even a scene in which the two characters involved played out the photoshoot which was so interesting to watch!
I've popped a few screenshots below of my images in use, but for anyone interested the programme is on BBC I player at the moment and it is actually a great show with some wonderful casting and storylines!
